Located in the heart of Jumeirah Beach, Horton Interiors partnered with the
Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority to design a purpose-driven
workspace that reflects the Authority’s vital mission and coastal surroundings.
The brief called for a calm, efficient environment where teams could prepare,
collaborate and recharge, all within a carefully planned footprint. The design
needed to provide a balance between focused work areas and dynamic team
zones, using durable, sustainable materials aligned with the Authority’s
environmental values.
To meet these goals, Horton Interiors employed a palette of light wood, soft
blues and neutral tones, drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape.
Acoustic solutions and layered lighting were integrated to enhance comfort
and productivity, while versatile, long-lasting furniture supports a range of
working styles. The space transitions smoothly between private workrooms,
open lounges, training areas and essential amenities. With every detail
thoughtfully considered, the result is a professional, welcoming environment
that enables the Authority to carry out its work effectively while promoting
well-being and collaboration among its teams.
